I see HTML tags shortcuts are back in build 5814, but ctrl+space is no longer a "valid shortcut sequence" there, though it can be set for code template. Well this kind of blows (:

Strange... Seems like the wrong solution IMHO.
I've always found those HTML Tags to be out of place under the shortcuts as they do insert a "template" of text.
I kinda liked them disappearing in the 5812 in favor of the normal templates.

So why not just define them as HTML (or Neutral) code templates? This would also allow a lot more flexible things.
Anyway I just removed all HTML Tags-shortcuts again as I don't like them.

And the control+space case is a tad strange: It is allowed in the Code Templates and IDE shortcuts, but no longer in the "Editor Shortcuts", so I think this might be a bug.

But there is a way to set again Ctrl+Space ... just don't click shortcut and type it as text...

This seems to be a bug ...

When you press Ctrl+Space it also adds an extra space before Ctrl. Please remove it with Backspace and the shortcut will be accepted.
We'll fix this in the next build.

Not sure if this has been said or is known.. but I was trying to figure out how to do a

<div class=""></div> and if I highlight say..

text I want between the div's

and pressed the keycomb. it wouldn't put the tags around the text.. then I noticed some of the default installs had |'s so I put

<div class="">|</div> in the template and sure enough | is where the selected text goes.

hope this helps someone.. sure saves me from downgrading back to 5.6
