HTML Error Analysis does not work

Hi everyone,

I have extended my PHPEd subscription yesterday and installed version 6106.
It works amazing overall, except for a couple annoying issues.

One thing I noticed is that Instant Error Analysis for HTML files does not work.
It shows false positive "Unrecognized tag" errors for every tag, here is a screenshot:

Has anyone experienced the same issue? Any solutions?

Windows Vista, PHPEd 6106 installed on top of 5983.

Thank you,
Tom.

it looks like you screwed up phped.rel file in %APPDATA%\nusphere\phped\config
it's highly recommended not to change this file
Anyway, it's more appropriate to contact support and provide all the details they request.

Hi Dmitri,

I have not change that file.
Maybe it get corrupted while I was installing 6106 on top of 5983?

Is there any quick way to restore that file?

Thank you,
Tom.

I have the same problem since upgrading from 5.6 to 6.1, it complains about every HTML tag.

Full uninstall of previous version and then installing 6106 fixed the problem for me.

Thanks, I had to do the same. I tried keeping the configuration settings, but that did not work, it has to be a complete uninstall. Sad

In most cases deleting phped.rel from %APPDATA%\nusphere\phped\config and restarting PHPEd should be enough.
Other files in /config folder shouldn't affect HTML error analyzer.
