tnsnames.ora is used by OCI, so if you provide tnsname in the account settings it will be used.
Alternatively you may copy-paste all that tags from tnsnames.ora into the account's tnsname. It's supposed to work too (but I did not check) |

After uninstalling my Oracle 8.1 client and installing the latest Oracle 10g client I was able to gain access. There might have been something wrong with the configuration of 8.1 as I tried everything on it without luck. Kind regards |
