Is it possible to debug javascript with phped? If so, how do I enable it. If not what's the best way to debug javascript? External debugger?

no...however, I have been sucessfully debugging JS using the FireBug add-on for Firefox.

Also, i can debug the AJAX PHP calls using phpEd as long as you convert any HTML files to PHP and then set breakpoints.

That's the way I do it too -- PhpED for PHP and FireBug vir JavaScript. It works very well. However, I often confuse the keyboard shortcuts for the debugging step commands, e.g. F8 in PhpED but F10 in FireBug Embarassed
