there is a strange thing happening ...

I connect to a FTP-Server within PHPEd and doubleclick the file, I would like to edit. Everything is fine. Then I push STRG+S for saving the file -> the file is successfully saved BUT there is a empty line between every line code. That really sucks !

Is this a option somewhere or a bug ?

It is not a problem in PHPEd. The problem happens in your ftp server that converts \r characters to \n.
As a possible workaround, you'd run File -> Save As and select Unix file type.
If you want to keep your files in Windows or MAC file format you have to change your FTP server.
