I have no issues with FTP'ing from my site down to my project.

But when I go to upload the file back to my server, all the upload options are disabled????

I couldn't find a way of making a project fail to show the Upload option, even if I used invalid FTP account settings. As long as an FTP account was assigned to the project, PhpED always shows Upload against files and folders.

If you can download, then you must have an FTP account assigned in PhpED, but I assume you are downloading using PhpED and not another FTP client?

What version of PhpED are you using? There have been a few specific releases that had FTP problems, although I haven't had any issues for a while now.
