when i try to connect to my db i get this error msg

mysql_connect(): cant connect to local mysql server through socket

at logar.php line 10

my db is working fine
what is the problem??

As far as I see you get this error message in your php script.
I think you forgot to write something like proper arguments for mysql_connect function.
In this case, PHPED is not involved and it's wrong place for such posts.
