Hi, I'm running Turnkey Linux LAMP stack (Linux lamp 2.6.32-39-generic-pae #86-Ubuntu SMP Mon Feb 13 23:05:11 UTC 2012 i686) on a guest on VMWare Workstation, with Windows7 64 bit as the host.

PHPEd7 is installed on Windows7 64 bit.

I've got debugging working fine on my Amazon EC2 server instance but I can't get it to work on this VM.

php.ini has the following lines:

zend_extension="/usr/lib/php5/20090626+lfs/dbg-php-5.3.so"
[debugger]
debugger.hosts_allow=192.168.1.64
debugger.hosts_deny=ALL
debugger.ports=7869

phpinfo indicates:

"This program makes use of the Zend Scripting Language Engine:
Zend Engine v2.3.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2010 Zend Technologies
with XCache v1.3.0, Copyright (c) 2005-2009, by mOo"

But the project settings wizard always fails at "Error: (-120) debugger module is not installed"

I'm totally flummoxed. I've tried both the 32 bit and 64 bit versions of the Linux .so file but it makes no difference. I can debug perfectly on my Amazon images but I can't get this to work at all. All other Apache and PHP stuff is working as normal.

Help!

and what did Wizard suggest to do?
did it suggest to try every and each modules?
It's my understanding that you just have to follow its instructions (quite blindly) and repeat everything at least once.
If nothing helps, contact support.
