Double Click Selects Word

This was a very useful feature in dreamweaver and most programs.

Double clicking a word, such as a variable name, selects that variable name and NOT funky charachters such as

; : ' " , . > < { } [ ] ( ) & % $ # @ ! = + | \ / ? * & ` ~ ,

but DOES select the character

Right now i can't duplicate this feature.
