Debuging PHP with image function (GD or GD2)

I'm starting my work with debuging and I really like it, now I can find my mistakes much faster :) but last week I started a project which uses GD2 with gif support and now I have a problem with debuging scripts that uses any imgage function.

This is (as i presume) because of CLI php.exe which does not run whole apache enviroment. So is there any other way to debug such a scripts?
