UTF-8 as well as any other multi-byte encodings are not properly supported by DbgListener 2.16. This problem is solved in dbg-2.18 which will be coming out with PHPED 4.0 in next few days.

If you are interested, here is a list of things our programmers would like to see in the upcoming version (other than the UTF-8 support at debug time):
- The possibility to suppress the sounds (annoying) - A way to turn javascript off in the internal browser - An "inspect" option on a variable at runtime that would open a small new window instead of having to add that variable to the "watch" tab - To fix: Sometimes opening the "find" dialog box takes too long - To fix: Sometimes cut and paste within big files takes too long We will wait for the version 4 before buying licences but we have already chosen phpEd as our future editor. It's a really nice product... Keep on the good work! |
