Why do you believe the variable has to be defined ? Smile
PhpED always shows what is actually defined. You can trust it.

The variable is not defined and therefore it is shown as undefined.
I'd recommend you to read about register_globals setting. Welcome to php manual!

Anyways, it falls beyond DBG and PHPED forum and seems it's better to stop this topic. Agreed ?

Hey, common Smile
Once again, everything in phped works just fine and you have just shown it Smile The variable is not defined and therefore it is shown as undefined.

I'd recommend you to read about register_globals setting. Welcome to php manual! Smile

I know this isn't a PHPED issue, but do realize the typing you could've saved if you would have just said "register_globals" changed from on to off in 4.2 (or whatever!)

In one of my earliest posts I said that the script is not correct Smile
and you didn't ask what's wrong with it.
So I decided to leave it as is and pay attention to phped issues (if any).
