one thing that really nerves is that "Step Over" (F8) doesn't step over __get() and __set() methods of PHP5 objects/classes.

That doesn't make any sense to me! If I'd like to see how a specific line executes step by step, I'd use "Step Into" (F7).

Is it a bug or a missing feature?

This is a known minor issue in php itself. It does not issue certain callbacks it'd do.
A workaround is already found and will be implemented in one month or so.

...don't even wanna know what their major issues are!
