I haven't been able devise a way to reproduce this with 100% certainty, but as I have been experiencing it since version <a long time ago> I thought I'd mention it.

If, during debugging, you get a popup box while you are editing a variable name in the watch window (or some other window I assume), the popup box disappears (I assume to somewhere behind the main window).

Problem then is that you can no longer do anything with the edit window. Clicking the menu doesn't work anymore either as you just hear the "beep" that tells you that a modal box is open and has to be closed first (but you can't because you can't refocus on it).

Changing application and then returning to phpED doesn't work either (with other applications that brings the modal box back to the front).

The only thing that seems to work is access the menu using the keyboard and closing the editor (so basically Alt+F, arrow up, enter). Have experienced it again about 10 minutes ago and I thought I'd mention it this time.

(I've also had it once while I was editing a watch name and the debugger hit a DebugBreak() iirc )

I'm not sure what popup box you mean. More details would be helpful.

Well I *think* it was the "this file has been modified, do you want to save it before you start debugging" last time. Yeah I know, don't ask me how I managed that. I've had these focus things for a bunch of times now and it's always when I don't expect them. The only thing that I'm sure of is that it happens when you're editing in the watch window and then a debugger event occurs that you have to confirm something for. I think the editbox and the popup fight for focus and the popup loses. Sorry I can't give you more details, I haven't managed to find a way to replicate it as I said, just wanted to inform you of it.
