phperror.log gives the following warning:

[11-Dec-2005 03:23:41] PHP Warning: Unknown(): Unable to load dynamic library '/usr/lib64/php4/dbg.so-4.3.9' - /usr/lib64/php4/dbg.so-4.3.9: cannot open sha
red object file: No such file or directory in Unknown on line 0

Here is the output of $ls /usr/lib64/php4/dbg.so-4.3.9
/usr/lib64/php4/dbg.so-4.3.9

So the file is exisitng but it doesnt find the file!!

wierd huh !!

a) check if you unpacked the file from Linux64 archive, not from Linux
b) check file's permissions & owner. It should be world readable/executable.

Where is the linux 64 archive ?

Over here http://www.php-debugger.com/dbg/downloads.php I only see the "binaries for Linux/glibc 2.2 platform".

ok i found the right dbg.so and now the server side seems to run fine.

But on the client side still does not work.
