do you need commercial version of DBG or freeware one?
First one comes with PHPED, see phped\debugger directory, and linux64 in particular.
Latter one is open-souce and you may compile it yourself.

I'm talking about the commercial version, I am supporting nusphere for many years
know.

I've tried the version in the /debugger/server/linux64 directory
the first funny thing is that the tar file contains a i386 and a i686 directory
as far as i know (grin) this are 32Bit ones so when i start apache i will get
the same error messages

PHP Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library '/opt/lampp/lib/php/ex
tensions/no-debug-non-zts-20041030/dbg.so' - /opt/lampp/lib/php/extensions/no-de
bug-non-zts-20041030/dbg.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or dir
ectory in Unknown on line 0

I've downloaded the latest version yesterday but the file still contains the same structure.

Some help here

This message means that dbg.so file was not found in /opt/lampp/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20041030/ directory.
Please check if you copied file there. BTW, you may want to update your extension_dir setting in php.ini and do not forget to stop and start Apache.

Regarding i686 vs i386, treat them as optimized and non-optimized. It makes sense then Smile

Sounds great but is not true. When I use the dbg.so that comes along with the xampp distribution
it's the non comercial 2.16.20 everything works fine. if i copy one of the linux64 files into the
extension directorys set the correct rights (755) the i'll get the nice error message that he is not able
to load the file.

Any clue

I used the file from the linux.tar not linux64 get the file from the i686 directory
put it on the server and its running know. maby someone exchange the different versions
and named the file wrong.

I used the last nusphere-phped-4[1].o-win32.exe dated 31.10.2005 18:07

Maby something is wrong in that package
