dbg-client as profiler?

I'd like to do some profiling with a free client, is dbg-cli capable of profiling?

Not so easy as it's in the IDE, but it's possible
You may get PROFILER results through DBG API (see this link for a sample http://www.php-debugger.com/dbg/download.php?h=prof_sample2). This script can be run as an auto_append_file= (see php.ini). In this case each time you run a script with debugger you will get profiler results too.
