You are absolutely correct. Viewing dbg-php-5.2.dll in a hex editor shows it is version 3.6.11. Would you kindly contact Nushere support and draw their attention to this fact?

I received help from support.
The Windows-ssl files are indeed not updated by mistake and will be shortly.
However, if you need the regular (non-ssl) debug module you can just copy over the one that is installed with PHPEd. The files can typically be found under:
C:\Program Files\NuSphere\PhpED\debugger\server\Windows

Tried that and it works.

dbg 3.8 in windows (debugger module version mismatch)
