Is this a bug?.. when i use the keys combination for selecting a text look what happens.. not selecting the closing single quote

no, it is not a bug.
Please check shortcuts and you'll find that Ctrl+RightArrow stands for "jump to next word on the right" and when shift is pressed it also extends text selection.
BTW, it's a common behavior, you're typing in this forum board, just check how input memo works.
I don't believe you never faced up with this.
