i thought i remember being bale to do this by pressing some key down but now can't seem to do this. I want to select a colum of stuff to delete like:

test
test
test
test
test

and i want to be able to select and delete all the "te"s but leave the "st"s there and do this with one delete, can i do that? i know i could do this in ultraedit.

This not not work for me all the time, like right now holding alt and the click and drag is selecting the whole lines, not columns.

turn off word wrap.
Column selection is off while word wrap is enabled.

Hi,

Just tried this feature, and thought it would work like in ultraedit, but unfortunally not...

I Wrote the following lines

Testing 123
Testing 123
Testing 123

Then I marked the 12's in each line using column mode. Pressed "Del" to delete the 12's they all disapeared, and I then typed 54.

I expectede my result to be:
Testing 543
Testing 543
Testing 543

Unfortunally it was:
Testing 3
Testing 3
Testing 543

Column support doesn't support editing more lines at once, like in ultraedit?
