I have lots of code templates I use no matter which language I'm editing under cursor. I never set a code template overlaping another one ir order to make it easy to remember, so this feature is useless for me. This "new feature" in 4617 is making me lower my productivity, besides the waste of time I spent creating my templates.

How can I disabled it? I didn't find how. Or have I missed something? The only way so far is to edit phped.cfg and manually copy/paste all templates to other languages. But, if after that I insert or change a template, I would have to repeat the copy/paste process all over again .

it looks like you need a "lang-independed" option for the combo in the code templates settings. Right?

I think it's not a comlicated task
all cfg are XML files (not perfect but robust!)
