Is it possible to disable code completion inside " and '.

Sometimes its annoying if I use words which are reserved in " and '. But I thing many woudl disagree becasuse they use "print some $variable" etc.

So for is realy annoying, so if there were or is possiblity to turn this thing off it would be great. So both camps are happy

So, do you mean highlighting the reserved words or code completion popup? As far as I know code completion popup does not trigger automatically while you're inside quoted strings. At least I checked with version 3.3 update pack #3. Could you please double check for sure?

I just test it and found that popup open if I do

"some string\n

(i want to add newline)

then it pops up function list on N

So this \ probably makes a triger

Let say I remove everything from " and I want to insert different text. I move cursor right after first " and pres let say character E. Popup goes on and list all php functions started with e.
