What is the status of this request? I would dearly love for this feature to work, the built in editor is useable, but for those of us who are used to our favorite external editor (vi, slickedit, multi edit etc.) this feature would make life much less frustrating

To recap, PhpEd should still check and recognize that files have changed exactly as it dose now, but there should be an option to suppress the dialog which asks if the users wants to reload the modified file, it should simply reload the modified file without asking. This feature is common to other IDE's such as MS Visual Studio & works great.
