Ability to hide preview window tab

I never use preview, not a single time in the 10 years of using PhpEd.

However what has been bothering me past few years is that Source / Preview tabs waste vertical space enough for displaying 1.5 lines of code.

Please add there an option to hide preview window (with corresponding tab bar to switch between source / preview).

this would save you perhaps 12-15pixels or 1.5-2 lines of code. If you need more space, this does not look like a right solution. Buy a larger display -- and you will get much more than 1.5 lines of code Smile

Yeas, I know Smile I have three 24" monitor setup but this tiny bit of lost vertical space is still bothering me Smile
I run pretty minimal interface too - all top toolbars are hidden as all I need I access via hot keys.

It is just that this preview thing - i have never ever used it, always do it in the browser.

You have 3x24" monitors and those 12-15 pixels bother you? Smile
Well, there is a little trick to hide thouse tabs: you can open Split Preview, then drag the splitter down until the bottom part is collapsed.
