Later versions of PhpED provide features for managing the MySQL library, but I don't think that was in 5.9
Try this: 1. Exit PhpED 2. Locate your MySQL installation bin directory and find the libmysql.dll 3. *Copy* (not move) that file to the PhpED directory, overwriting the existing file (keep a copy of that file if you wish, but it isn't useful) 4. Start PhpED and give it a go The original PhpED supplied libmysql.dll is quite small (mine was 228KB) and the new one is much larger (mine is 2MB). |

NOTE: this does _NOT_ work is v8 and higher versions of PhpED. In this case you have to install MySQL Connector-C (32bit version)
