I am pretty new to this and evaluating phpEd to see if it suits my need

I got a local Xampp server running on my windows7 PC and a copy of my live site installed there and working

When I try to creat a project using the wizard it fails when testing the debugger with error -127 degubber failed to respond in 210 seconds

I checked phpinfo as advised in the FAQ and to my best knowledge debugger is installed

If I chose to skip the debugger test the project appears to have imported all my files and subdirectories.

However I am getting an error message saying
New debug session with /localhost/dbg-sample.php has started but IDE could not find the project for web debugging


My site is vbulletin / vbA CMPS based with lots of custom mods

What do I need to check next to determine the cause of the problem?

I also get an error 'To work with local or remote webservers other than SRV, you have to create project. See File > New Project menu. But I thought that is what I just did ??? Then click OK and the project files all disappear from the workspace apart from index.php

I am obviously really misunderstanding something fundamental of how phpEd projects wizard works

AHh... Windows firewall was causing the problem. I turned that off and now the debug test works and the project seems to load all my files properly
