Ever thought of a filter to ignore certain file-types doing a search?
E.g. zip, jgp, flv, etc....

Reason: The "Find in files" searches for the string in all files in the project directory. It also trys file types: ZIP, JPG, FLV, MP3 and so one.

It would save a hell of a time, if there would be a settings option in the preferences to exclude certain files from being scanned.

you may want to add those extensions into BINARY line in file Associations in Tools->Settings.
