why do you use google to search your own forums?

Lots of people use Google Search with phpBB and NuSphere do appear to be using it. In over 2 years of searching NuSphere forums I've never had an issue with it and searches have been fast. In fact, until today I never even noticed they were using google, so I checked the page source and sure enough, they are using it.

Bear in mind that if Google Search is being used, the search submission form goes through to google from your computer, so it is your internet connection that google sees and therefore it is your internet connection that google is complaining about, not NuSphere's.

It is actually a common problem if you use a proxy server anonymization service, because if you pickup an IP address that has been used for automated access to google then google will reject some searches.
