Hi everybody,

I was wondering if there was a way to change the default automatic-comment template? I would like to add, for example, a default @author tag, etc.

Is that possible or this is built-in PhpED? (I searched for a setting, but couldn't find any).

The default text is built into the PhpED binary, so it does not look like it can be changed.

You might at least be able to use Code Templates to save a bit of typing, so you could for example press delete on the default text then press another key shortcut to insert the code template with your default comment.

Alternatively, you could probably write a PhpED script to do those steps with a single key press. http://www.nusphere.com/kb/technicalfaq/tip_some_useful_scripts.htm
