Filtering some folder contents, possible?

Hi!
Could you please tell me if it is possible to filter out some of the files within chosen folder? I would like to create sort of "folder view" that would allow me to see only chosen files (for instance only *.php files or *Final.php files, or whatever else ), hiding all the others - so that it's easier to work with large folders.
Is that possible? I think I saw some tutorial a while back, hence my question.

Cheers!

From Project Properties you can hide files, but that probably isn't going to do what you want. I haven't seen a good filtering capability.

It's what Find input on Workspace window is for. Type the pattern here and click Find button. Depending on the settings in the next dropdown, it will look for files in current project, all projects, in folders expanded in the tree or in all.

How do you use that to perform a filter? I can do a Find with it, which can be useful, but not a filter.
