$_SERVER[PHP_SELF] returns nonsense..

Hello,

I'm using PHP 5.2 on ISS6 Windwos Server 2003
If I debug with local Web server the result of
$_SERVER[PHP_SELF] gives the strange value ...
/file:/D:/inetpub/wwwroot/........

why is there /file: at the beginning of the result ?

Any settings wrong ?
