hi Dmitrie,
Any chance this feature will be added [soon]? Alexei |

what if we add "Syntax check" for directories and projects to their popups? It could be done really [soon].
As of doing it during upload, it's much more complicated. |

their popups? sorry i cant remember any directory/project popups
i imagined it to look like a simple dialog box which appears on save event just before file is saved (file is broken. save / cancel) similar to the one when file is closed (do you want to close file? yes/no/cancel) |

oh, that's easier
good. |

this feature once implemented would be a reason for me to upgrade to 4.5

unfortunately my pet feature didnt make it into PHPEd5!
do you have any plans to add it? i see it as just more advanced save dialog which will show warning and preps a list of all syntax errors if there are any in the current file |

For sure it's still in the plans. Sorry to say that there were things with higher priority to be implemented in 5.0.
I hope we'll have this request done in one of the next minor updates. |

Really good idea |
|
I think this FR is a really good idea - it would catch a lot of minor errors before uploading.
I'm working on a lot of my projects "live", so catching syntax errors which breaks the whole file before upload would really be a sweet thing. Let's hope to see it in 5.1 /Jesper |

i do this error of updating syntactically broken file to live server again and again.
Please, add some warning before file is saved saying that there are errors. |
