Debugging background scripts

I have a script that giving a 500 error when run as a background script in phpDock. Is there a way to 'see' the error maybe view a log file?

if you have phped, you can use php debugger shipped with it. To invoke the debugger, you'd have to run DebugBreak('1@localhost:7869') function.
