Since 5.9, all non-php or non-html fragments aren't displayed in the color chosen in syntax colors in editor settings /default is gray/. Instead they're shown in black, which is a little distracting when working on larger files with php, html and js mixed up.

I was hoping this would be fixed in build 5915, but unfortunately it wasn't.

This is a great feature, it calls "Dynamic Highlighting". If You want not to see that, just turn it off. For me this is really great, so it must be always on.
