PHP IDE :: NuSphere Forums :: View topic - How do you view the root srv web servers directory?

So if i navigate to http://localhost:8080 then i get,

HTTP/404
The requested URL alias for / is not defined.

i can directly navigate to a file in the root,

http://localhost:8080/file.php

but it would be helpful if i could see the directory listing like you can with apache.

any ideas?

it's a feature of Apache, not a part of HTTP standard.
If you develop an application that depends on Apache features, just use Apache for your development.
You may want to install any Apache disro (like TechPlatform), then run Project Settings Wizard in PhpED.
