I have xampp on win xp as localhost already run before I have installed PhpEd 5.2
for first time to try it! The install routine didn't give a notice about changes it going to be done
in configuration files!?

php_mysql.dll is the where it should be, the path to it is correct. I can see phpinfo page, the path for php.ini is correct,
but the is no section for Mysql at all any more. When I try to access mysql, I get erreor:

I have deinstalled PhpEd , replace php and apache directories with my last backup, it doesn't help. Any Ideas? Thanks in advanced for Help

it only means that mysql extension that provides mysql_connect() function is not installed.

It's because it did not make any changes in configuration files.
It does never change user configuration files.


probably you're seeing another php, not the one installed with your xampp, or the change is done by different software, not NuSphere PhpED.
