PHPED adds extra CRs?

Some strange reason phped adds empty rows to the code pages.

It is like it adds one extra line after avery line.
The is leads to huge ammount of white gaps in the code.

Could it be some setting on how it reacts on different types of carridge return?
Meaning that different program I presume uses different kind of enter char?

marksu,

No, PhpED does not add any CRs. Probably you're using FTP for transferring the files and selected ASCII mode instead of BINARY. In this case your server adds them. I'd highly recommend not to use ASCII mode for any FTP transfers. There are no reasons to use ASCII at all.

Yes you comment sound logical.
Thank you.

I just have not had this problem before so though it was phped issue.

I wonder if tere is any small app that can somehow remove the extra space, without removing avery single empty row?
