I am an experienced domainer and webmaster

I have used PHP in remove servers (shared hosting) for over a year. Here are my questions,

I cant even run a simple program in PHP, I think I have installed the software properly. I dint get any error while debugging.

How to run a simple php program, all I could see is "source" and "preview" buttons at the bottom, and when I click preview I see only the HTML codes and all other php codes are blocked by a small picture(a php button, I think they refer to php blocks).

How do I run my PHP codes in PHPEd.

Coming to DB connection, here also I dint get any error, and I am not getting the output. I think the connection was successfully made but still I couldn't get the output.

I have tried the "run" button on the top left corner, but still the program is not showing any output.

Do I need Apache tomcat to run my php files ?
I hope PHPed bundle dint have Apache Tomcat.


Can someone help me out in this !
