I love PhpED, but I do a lot of search and replace within selected blocks. It's a real pain to have to keep setting the scope back to "selected text" every time. I *never* do multiline search and replace. Most editors I use default to "selected text" when text is selected. I've made some disastrous errors when I thought I had just replaced text in a selected block.

If there were an option: "Set replace scope to selected text when text is selected," it would make my life much easier and I'm sure I'm not alone.
