im using phped since years and the worst thing I have to say about the software is that the ftp-functioniality is lame as hell. The reason is that its not multithreaded like for example filezilla does. The files itself are loading the same speed but when you have many small files, which is normal for most webprojects, you have to wait.

I work with typo3 and only wanted to download the typo3-folder. You know what? It took nearly 2 hours. Great... I have better things to do than always waiting for this.

So whats the problem here? Did i miss a hidden option or so? If not i cant believe that such a professional software does make such a bad job at this point. Downloading files from a server is no fun and is killing my time at the moment.
