Hello,
I just downloaded the 5.6 release and the new css features dont seem to work

I notice Navigator doesnt show anything also.

Yeah. Just as I supposed. Please remove first of char in Your code. You have file encoded as UTF-8 with signature. In PhpED You open file without signature and then as You can see in Your css code in PhpED You have small point as first char (also visible on screens You've posted). Please remove it and save file. Then You will see everything ok.
