Maybe I'm missing a setting or another thread (because I've messed with all the settings & searched over the forum for the past 20 minutes), but how do I change the highlighting behavior on the PhpED editor (not the syntax highlighter, just the dragging with the mouse to select some text)

I just want it to act like a normal text editor, where the selection can be overwritten or moved

Tools > Settings > Editor > Editor settings > Overwrite blocks


This should be the normal behaviour, I think. What happens when you try to move a highlighted block?
