Am used to Notepad++. By comparison, the mouse selection in phpEd is driving me mad!

Click and drag to select and area - then I click on the area to drag it elsewhere and 90% of the time (but not always) the selection is lost.

Selection of multiple lines doesn't work if the mouse is close to the gutter - the most natural place. Have to judge carefully to get first character location.

small things, but makes IDE easier!

Another thing:
- making selection with ALT pressed. The bottom corner will always stick to length of the end line not to an end of a largest one (which can be line in the middle)

This was so simple, but editor was driving me mad until the penny dropped.

Type in some text, any text. Indent it with a few tabs. Select the text, all of it. Press mouse to drag it somewhere else. Fine UNLESS you happen to press on a tab, in which case the text is unselected.

I was doing this all the time, out of habit of using tabs for indentation, and dragging from left hand edge, i.e. the tabbed area.

Try this in other apps, e.g. notepad++ and it's fine, so I think this is a bug.

Surprised no-one noticed this behaviour, surely not everyone uses convert tabs to spaces?
