I'm evaluating phpEd and when running a simple app with a captcha image using the local server it fails on image call imagecreatetruecolor and all other image calls. The reason I believe is that GD2 is not installed as part of the phpED local server. How would one install GD2 under phpED local server?

To get around this I then setup to run under my Wamp installation and the simple captcha ran fine because my Wamp PHP has GD2 installed. However I need to debug Zen Cart also and doing that with phpED causes an IDE hang, I have no idea where and have to terminate the process everytime it does this because the complete IDE is hung up. So I went back to the phpED local server and debugger and Zen Cart runs fine under that.

I need to get GD2 running under the phpED local server or find out why the debugger hangs while debugging Zen Cart under Wamp. The former is probably the easiest solution but the latter would be best. Messy messy. Ideas?
