Hi
i'm evaluating PHPEd and i have a problem running and debugging cli-scripts.

PHPEd is installed on win-xp. No other version of php is installed on this computer.

I changed settings->IDE->Run & Debug to local cgi
I changed settings->Tools->srv web server Type php5 to ...php.exe (instead of php-cgi.exe)

After pressing debug, i get "session star ttimeout has expired".
The debugger is running at port 7869

I found some threats about this error, but some are realy old or deal with situations where php/php.ini is not the original one, provided with phpEd.

Can anyone provide a step-by-step guide how to setup phped to debug cli-scripts?

Thanks Andi

I'm taking a shot here and may be off base, but... you might download and run PHP Debugger Wizard Script to get the correct settings.
