It would be cool if the "Selected Text" scope was ticked by default if you have a block highlighted in the editor before pressing Ctrl + R.
This is something that constantly annoys me.

This is the default behavior of just about every program I use and was mildly disappointed when this 'default' feature was not in phpEd. Please add this request into the feature list.

This would be very useful feature.
