Working with various projects which all have their own guidelines on a file's line endings (with the majority forcing \n), it would be really nice if it would be possible to see and set the line endings of a file similar to how we can change the encoding of a file straight from the editor, instead of having to go through File -> Save as. Additionally, an option to force a given line ending on every file you open (could be global, could be per-project) would be a great improvement.

Did you try tools->settings->ide settings, Default file format -> unix?

Does "default" mean that it'll force it on any file opened and saved from the editor?
