I've tried reinstalling, first time keeping, then removing settings. No luck.

Any ideas ? I really like being able to debug Razz

Thank you in advance!

Please run dbglistener.exe and check its version in the About window.
If it is 3.2.14 (the most recent version at the moment), please run register.bat in the same directory.
If it is anything other than 3.2.14, you have to reinstall the product and it will install 3.2.14.

Ran register.bat. No luck, same error.

The debugger worked fine yesterday. There was a power outage during the night, and phped didn't get properly shut down. I'm sure it's not a version issue, since it worked before. Tried reinstalling twice.

edit: also when i start phped it tries to run cmd.exe, which, if i remember correctly, it didn't use to. then cmd.exe starts regsvr32 2 times and DBGlistener 2 times .... so i assume it's running register.bat on its own.

most probably your registry is corrupted.

looks like you missed the point. Please follow the steps in the order I listed them and let me know about the results.
