Is there a way to change the colors for SSH Terminals?

I can't seem to find an option to customize the colors for SSH terminals. The current colors are too dark for my eyes on a black background and I don't want to use monochrome. I'm currently using Putty just because of this but would much rather use the terminal window within PhpED instead.

Can this be done, and if not, could it be a new feature?
