It would be great, if backup functionality was more configurable.
Right now, there´s only the choice of making backup files or not.

Here is a screenshot of a third party tool (i´m not saying with one ) where you have lot more configuration options:



the most valuable would be to choose the backup-directory, the time between automatic saving and maybe the filename-format.

Maybe in the next release?
